| Dispensing control, which plays a determinative role in the quality of encapsulation,is an important procedure in the area of encapsulation of micro-electronics design, makinghigh-performance dispenser quite crucial in integrated circuit. Although encapsulation ofmicro-electronics has got an impressive improvement in recent years, controllers madeabroad still occupy the upscale market of dispensers, which gives the research ofdispensing control system with independent intellectual property rights much priorities inthe upgrade of micro-electronics industry.In this paper, a high-precision real-time control system for dispensing is designedbased on embedded ARM+FPGA platform. The control system consists of master chip,mechanical motion platform, HMI and glue controller. The motion parameters areanalyzed and configured by master chip, which has accepted the standard commandstransmitted by PC. Then, the dispensing action is collaboratively completed by the motionplatform and glue controller. The HMI is used for on-line real-time monitoring and theinput of critical parameters on the whole process. The main contents of the paper are asfollows:Firstly, to design the hardware of the system, the basic software and hardwareframework of the control system based on the analysis of the requirements of dispensingcontroller is built and the type of the critical parts are also be chose.Secondly, in consideration of the actual operation of dispensing system, the improvedACC/DEC algorithm is proposed based on the pulse incremental and data samplinginterpolation algorithm.Finally, the module of communication, storage, encryption, interface and control isfinished based on the hardware circuit and software program and passed the test of thewhole equipment.The dispensing system to which the paper refers has been installed on WDS-300dispenser. The status of the dispensing system is excellent in the long-period industrial testand meets the practical requirements. |
