The Design And Realization Of The Logistics Information System Of Bulk Cargo Of Qinhuangdao Port

With the highly development of the world economy globalization and themodernization process, the main ports in the world are tending to network distribution,business diversification, market integration and informatization management.Qinhuangdao port is the world’s largest dry bulk cargo port transportation enterprises. Itis an comprehensive and important modern port enterprises and bulk cargo logisticsenterprises in China. The logistics operation possess the characters of high requirementof real-time, high degree of automation, large amount of data processing and relativelycomplicated operation process. In the future, how to give full play to the role ofinformation engine, speed up to promote the upgrading of the port and the transition togear up is related to the overall situation of the port development strategy. With the newsituation and new requirements of port development, a bulk cargo logistics informationsystem contains logistics operation, data integration, construction standards, customermanagement and information service is significant important.At first, introduction of the research status and development trend of portinformatization are given. With the analyses of the characteristics of Qinhuangdao port,the conclusion that Bulk Cargo Logistics Information System (BCLIS) is significantimportant to Qinhuangdao port is achieved. In addition, the purpose of this system is alsodescribed.Then, in the requirements analysis section, the flow of management in bulk cargologistics information is introduced. With this introduction, this paper expound the builtpurpose, function requirement and performance requirement of this system. In the designintroduction part, this paper describes the realization process and design philosophyabout BCLIS. Meanwhile, this part introduces the concept of the overall design, thelogical architecture design, application architecture design, subsystem function designand database design.In the realization state, the development environments of BCLIS are given. What’smore, from the aspects of environment, the server database platform and developmenttools, introduction of the realization process of this system are described.At last, this paper gives detailed introduction to the main techniques used in project construction. Besides, the innovations which include data integration technology areshown. In addition, this work in this project is summarized and the future work isprospected.
