As a world-renowned port, Shanghai ranked at the very top in2011in terms of cargothroughput and container throughput billboard with a0.73billion throughput and a31.74million TEU containers. The port throughput is one of the important quantity index which can reflect theachievement of port production activity. As the No.1port in the world, the cargo throughputstatistic work of Shanghai port is very important. To collect correct and accurate data, makeall these data correct and in its way, artificial work is without reality. The cargo throughputand fee auto statistics system can support Shanghai port collect and analyze the data with itsmodule of data input, data analyze and statistics. At the same time, the system also can givewarning information from abnormal data. These information can support the government tomake correct decision. This article analyze and design the cargo throughput and fees auto statistics system. Inthe article, it makes use of use case tool to analyze the requirement, including user and roleanalysis and use case analysis. Design the system with UML, it uses graphical methods toperform the frame design, such as sequence diagram and state diagram, including the designof user interface layer, business service layer and business model layer. The design alsoinclude the database, mainly for the designing of data dictionary. The related technologyinclude.net, sql server database, ajax (asynchronous javascript and XML),etc.Last but not least, this article give the real test data of the system, and analyze the testdata to get some useful experience. Also, list some real case to explain the real effect of the system.
