Standardization is not only the basic link of systems integration and technologyintegration, but also the guarantee of wide-range practical applications for a system,which occupies an important position in the system construction. As inland navigationinformation service has been introduced just for a very short time in our country,there are many problems during the construction for shipping informationization,such as the lack of standard system, the ambiguous standard system framework, thelack of a unified guidance and coordination during standard projects, the repetitionand overlap of standard contents, the mess matching and delay update of standardsystem, and so on. From the content perspective, standards are too fragmented orlow-quality. Furthermore, the common and basic standards are vacant. The standardsystem for Internet of Ships aims to build the kind of standard system that orientsshipping intelligent information service and meets the needs of shipping development.It provides a scientific and effective standard system assurance for the informationinterconnectivity and business collaboration between government departments,harbor-shipping enterprises and the social public users, which can promote smoothwork for the standardization for Internet of Ships.The research is based on the systematic, hierarchy and sustainability principles,etc.. These research results for the standard system of Internet of Ships are as follows:(1) The design of standard system framework of Internet of ShipsReferring to the domestic and overseas research results about standard system ofInternet of Ships, the connotation and target for Internet of Ships are exactly analyzedbased on a comprehensive understanding of the concepts with standard, standardsystem, and standard system table. Then, following the function system andtechnology system of Internet of Ships, the information system theory and modelstudy both are used to establish the standard system framework of Internet of Ships,which is divided into two parts: profession field and technology level. The frameworkmakes standards for Internet of Ships in a logical structure and finally format ascientific organic whole.(2) The compilation of standard system table of Internet of Ships The standards for Internet of Ships in the “two provinces one municipality”(Jiangsu province, Zhejiang province and Shanghai Municipality) should be detailinvestigated firstly. Then, the methods of expert consultation and document analysisare adopted to form some comprehensive, unified and concerted standard subsets.Furthermore, the standard subsets are recombined and optimized to supplement thestandard system table, directing the standardization construction for Internet of Ships.(3) The construction and implementation for standard system of Internet of ShipsOn the foundation of above-mentioned work, combining the practical situationof Internet of Ships, the standards construction planning is made in order to define theconstruction state of these standards, give the key standards and put forward someadvices for the construction and implementation for standard system Internet of Ships.It is very important for the effective implementation of standards and standard systemof Internet of Ships.
