The Internet of things(IOT) is a technology that connect things using sense. Now, it widely used for smart home, logistics management, smart grid and so on. Radio frequency identification(RFID) as the core technology of the Internet of things has the characteristics of fast recognition, long-range identification, stable work performance,which is technology that incorporates the use of electromagnetic or electrostatic coupling in the radio frequency portion of the electromagnetic spectrum to uniquely identify on object. It is widely used in various fields, such as production automation,commercial supply chain, container identification. With the rapid development of Internet of things, traditional UHF RFID tag can not meet the application requirement of people. Designing a kind of multifunction, low cost, low power consumption IOT tag chip become hot in the researches of research institutions.On the basis of thorough reaching in development status of IOT, this paper designed the key feature modules of Internet of things tag chip, which is integrated temperature sensing function, switch status monitoring, power management circuit and SPI interface.First, this paper focuses on design the overall structure of Internet of things tag chip and the detailed solution of key functional modules, which on basis of introducing technology of IOT and RFID.The IOT tag chip is integrated temperature sensor module,which can use CMOS temperature characteristic to sense temperature. It can be used to sense temperature and record time information in the memory. Researches on the low power comparator, offset voltage elimation mechanism and sectionalized DAC circuit will be beat the target of designing a lower power, smaller chip area and higher precision tag chip. Switch status monitoring circuit uses CMOS process to monitor and record the number of electronic lock opening; This tag chip adds power management circuit between rectifier and voltage regulator of traditional tag chip, which can control battery off and on based on RF signal.The digital part of this tag chip integrates SPI interface, which can use the custom command to receive control commands sent by external device to expand IOT tag chip functions, which can complete functions of switch counting, sensing information collection and periodic sensing information.The IOT tag chip use the TSMC 0.18 um CMOS process. After verification, the IOT chips can achieve the function of design requirements for the Internet of things.
