Recent years as the era of communication arrives, people·s demand of the Internet ofThings is increasing. Through the internet we can realize the remotely real time,interactive operation and information sharing of the object. How to make the applicationconvenient and cheap for families to use is the key.Nowadays the issue of C-DOCSIS Standard brings the increasing bandwidth forusers and equal bandwidth of upstream and downstream and at the same time reduces theinfluence of back transmission noise to the uplink. This standard provides technicalsupport such as bandwidth and QOS to the application of the Internet of Things. Thebroadcast&TV network has a wide coverage, especially in the crowded public place, ifintegrated with greatly demanded Wi-Fi, it will realize the low-cost use of the Internet ofThings without changing their original network. After the analysis of the advantages ofbroadcast&TV network and characteristics of the application of the Internet of Things,this paper tries to prove that the broadcast&TV network based on C-DOCSIS accesstechnology is feasible as bearer network.Firstly this paper briefly introduces the latest standard for broadband accessC-DOCSIS, compares and analyses different versions of the series of DOCSIS standard. Itshows C-DOCSIS standard has not only the advantages of the former standards but alsosome innovations. This proves the feasibility of the application of C-DOCSIS in therealization of the operation of the Internet of Things.Secondly, this paper combines the technology of Wi-Fi and Zigbee. The technologyof Wi-Fi as the users ends finishes the last100meters broad-band access, this paperdesigns a double MCU Zigbee gateway node in order to realize the functions such asprotocol conversion between two network techniques and interface adapter.Last,The scheme provided in the paper uses broadcasting and TV networkC-DOCSIS technology as internet access platform to exhibit the whole framework of therealization of the Internet of Things. The thesis analyses the bandwidth needed in theprocess, IP address assignment, protocol conversion between different technology, site visits about the coverage of Wi-Fi, interferometric analysis, frequency plan and coveragepattern, at last through ZigBee to realize the specific application. The research focuseson the access method, but didn·t give detailed description for the realization of theapplication, at the same time probing into different internet technology to provide networkconstruction scheme.
