Narrowband Internet of Things(NB-IoT)technology,as one of the most important research directions in the Internet of Things system,has attracted more and more attention.The core functions of NB-IoT are defined by the 3GPP R13 standard,which will be supplemented in later upgraded versions.Through software simulation,related protocols and algorithms can be verified and performance evaluated before the system is actually deployed,and problems can be discovered and resolved in advance.This thesis is based on the 3GPP R13 standard and researches and implements a software simulation platform for the protocol stack of the NBIoT system.This thesis first gives an overview of the NB-IoT system,introduces the protocol stack transmission process of the data in the NB-IoT system,and focuses on the detailed analysis and analysis of the uplink data transmission process,and uses this as the theoretical basis for the simulation platform.Then the NS3 open source simulation platform tool is researched,and its core function modules and simulation scenario settings are discussed.Based on the previous analysis,the NB-IoT protocol stack is layered according to the R13 standard,including the PHY layer,MAC layer,RLC layer,PDCP layer,and RRC layer,which implements the random access process and uplink application data transmission.Process.Based on this,the thesis analyzes the uplink coverage capability based on MCS,carrier and repeat scheduling algorithm in different environments,and then proposes a hybrid scheduling algorithm.The simulation results show that the hybrid scheduling algorithm has the best uplink coverage performance.The NB-IoT simulation platform built by this thesis basically realizes the functions of each layer specified by the 3GPP R13 standard protocol stack.The implemented simulation platform can simulate random access and scheduling algorithms according to the requirements of different simulation scenarios,analyze the algorithm performance,and lay the foundation for the subsequent expansion to the upgraded version system.
