In today’s era of supply chain competition, the enterprise’s decision-maker should stand in the height of the supply chain to thinking about the problems. The inventory is as a link and an important driving factor of every member in the supply chain. The quality of inventory management directly affects the level of operation cost of the supply chain. On the premise of ensuring the customer service level, we should reduce inventory level as much as possible, bring down the stock volatility, to reduce the operation costs of the enterprise, improve the market competitiveness of the enterprise.China is an electronic manufacturing power, however, the member enterprises in supply chain did not form an effective whole, they are simply trading relationship between each enterprise, the lack of effective management in logistics and information flow, results in the decrease of overall efficiency, failed to play the advantage of the supply chain management.In this paper, we use system dynamics method, standing on the position of the supporting manufacturer, to study the inventory control of electronic manufacturing enterprises under the environment of supply chain. First of all, we introduce inventory management theory under the environment of supply chain, system dynamics and modeling steps. And then we analyze the production characteristics of electronic manufacturing enterprises, the process of inventory control and the existing problems in inventory control currently.Then, we select a supporting manufacturer and a leading manufacturer that they have the relationship of supply and demand as the main object of the research, determine the purpose of modeling and the border of the research object, find out the various factors that affect inventory in the system and analyze the relationship between them, so we can draw the causal loops of member enterprises’inventory control. On this basis, we determine the type of variable, draw a system flow diagram, establish the corresponding mathematic equations, so as to construct the simulation model about inventory control of electronic manufacturing enterprises under the environment of supply chain system. After testing qualified, we have a simulation with Yongming power company and its cooperative enterprises’operating data, analyze the order rate of upstream member enterprise submitted and the volatility of member enterprises’stock. The bullwhip effect is found in the process.In order to develop the optimization policy, we change some controllable decision variable of the supporting manufacturer and observe the response of order rate and inventory in the system. So we can develop the parameters optimization policy and the structure optimization policy. We use model to simulate the two optimization policies, and compare the simulation results with the current policy’s simulation result. We prove that the two optimization policies are effective theoretically, and the structure optimization policy has obvious inhibitory effect to the bullwhip effect, decreases inventory fluctuations obviously, provides enough space to reduce inventory.Finally, we put forward some targeted countermeasures and suggestions to the electronic manufacturing enterprises guided by the optimization policies, to help enterprises to realize the optimization policies.
