Doing the fundamental test research of spraying technology is necessary for controlingspraying volume of per unit area,increasing pesticide utilization and reducing environmentpollution. Considering current problems such as the backwardness of orchard sprayer andspraying technology, the poor performance of spraying control system, not real-timemonitoring of spraying process etc., this research designed a spraying performance simulationtest bench and done test research based on MCU technology, embedded technology, theoryanalysis and module design. The main content and conclusions of the paper are as follows:(1) This research accomplished the total design of the test bench which is able to do theresearch on sprayer pressure fluctuation characteristics, spraying evenness, sprayer velocitysimulation and variable-rate spraying. Then, this research confirmed the total scheme designof the test bench by comparing the different schemes. Based on choosing the type of pump,electromagnetic valve, electronic ball valve etc., this research accomplished the total designof spraying supervisory control system circuits consisting of power module, LCD module,communication module and SD memory module, electronic ball valve control module,electromagnetic valve control module etc. and finally accomplished the building of the testbench.(2) This research accomplished the design of upper computer software and lowercomputer software. The program of upper computer software consists of system setup module,data receiving module and data displaying module etc.; The program of lower computersoftware consists of system initialization module, LCD display module, data receivingmodule, SD memory module, serial port communation module, electronic ball valve controlmodule, electromagnetic valve control module etc..(3) The spraying monitoring system uses two modes of PC and LCD to display thespraying parameters in real time, simultaneously it can store the spraying parameters by SD.The test bench can control the electronic ball valve and electromagnetic valve by ARM andcan simulate the velocity of sprayer by velocity simulation system.(4) This research accomplished the verification test of the test bench. And it showed thatevery component of the test bench can work normally. The precision of pressure monitoring and flow monitoring is97.4%and99.3%respectively. The precision of the sprayer velocitysimulation system is97.1%.(5) This research done both theory research and test research on pressure fluctuationcharacteristics under different reflux ratios. The results showed that the value of pressurefluctuation is directly related to the reflux ratio; The more the number of the closing nozzle is,the bigger the value of pressure fluctuation will be under the same reflux ratio; The bestreflux ratio is3:2among the different reflux ratios and this best reflux ratio is recommendedwhen using the small spraying machine which controls the flow by reflux.
