This paper is grounded on the technical innovation required by the Inspecting and Test Center of ZWZ Group Corp. After comparing the actual technology level of Inspecting and Test Center with the internal and international craft brother's and analyzing the request of the project, a design of CAN-based supervisory control system of bearing fatigue life test machine is introduced.The function of the system is made up of three parts. The central computer's function is to supervise and save information. Information exchange is realized by CAN bus. Collecting data, controlling the startup and stop of test machine, diagnosing the bearing and giving an alarm when a fault is found are the control computer's tasks.The central computer's software is developed with VB since it has multitudinous virtues such as friendly interface, easiness for programming, short developing periods etc. In addition, VB provides some order by which the operation to database can be finished expediently.Based on the numerous virtues of CAN bus, such as good real time, high reliability and strong anti-jamming ability etc, the communication function is carried out by it in the supervisory control system. To communicate, many functions have been designed by transferring CAN drivers. In view of the system's need of real time, the inspecting and control software is developed with Turbo C3.0.The Employment of the supervisory control system in the spot has changed the test status quo and advanced the test level for the Inspecting and Test Center of ZWZ Group Corp. The accumulation of abundant bearing inspecting and test data supplies dependent base for further analyzing bearing fatigue validation and bearing fatigue trend and seeking for some new bearing test methods. So it has very practical significance.
