Polarization is a kind of nature of light. At present, in the field of optical communication, optical fiber sensing, and many others, polarization is more and more become a kind of important factor that affect its development. Therefore, study the polarization of the light control has become a very important and which has a great application prospect.At present, there are many kinds of polarization control methods, and there are many methods which have achieved good results, but the existing each kind of polarization control method has its certain shortcomings. In this paper, by learning the extrusion of optical fiber to implement polarization control, however, at present, the extrusion devices we had also have many defects, some larger, have fatal influence on the polarization control field operational; Some smaller, but it is expensive. In this article, through the experiment of polarization control of extruding device design and improvement, developed a small electric polarization controller, and parameters of extrusion device of PZT are analyzed in optical measurement.This article first expound the polarization of the existing control methods and analyse in detail, and the polarization of the light nature has carried on the analysis and study of theory, and emphatically analyzes electric polarization controller, based on the design and improvement of extrusion unit, and completed the research and analysis of the characteristics of PZT.
