Commercialization of4G networks and fiber to the home promote the fiber opticcommunication system towards a higher rate and greater carrying capacity direction.However, polarization mode dispersion and polarization dependent loss and otherpolarization phenomena existing in the communication systems make the bit error rateof the communication system increases, which seriously affects the transmissionefficiency of the high-speed system. Polarization controller that is one of the devicesused to suppress polarization-dependent effects.This article focuses on studying the electro-optical ceramics optical, electricalproperties and the application to the polarization controller fields. And puts forward anew type of polarization controller, optimizes the assembling process by simplifyingthe opto-ceramics installation, verifys the relevant performance of polarizationcontroller by testing.This article combines the features of the simulated annealing algorithm and thepeak searching algorithm and seeks to optimize its improvement. Simulation resultsshow that such optimization effectively shorten the device’s control time-consumingand significantly reduced the probability of the uncontrolled polarization.Based on works of the conventional DOAP type polarization detector, weproduced a fiber DOAP polarization detector. we have redesigned the corecomponents-dichroic prism, and by optimizing the parameters, to having a goodconsistency in the range of a broad wavelength and a wide application temperature. |
