People is the main part of the city, and is the focus of media attention and thefocus of reported, media become a mirror to reflect the social reality of life throughnews reports, while the public images are rendered more is achieved through thesubstantial news coverage. How is the Zhengzhou resident’s medium image? Withsuch confusion, this paper takes the "Green City News" page in Dahe Daily asresearch object and the news reports about Zhengzhou resident as research samples,then learns the theory of semiotics and communication studies,and analysis theZhengzhou resident image in the media report.The paper is divided into five parts. The first part is the introduction, includingresearch background, research significance, research summary, research theoreticalfoundation and research methods.The second part anslysis the Zhengzhou residentimage in the "Green City News" page in Dahe Daily through the content analyticmethod. The main research content are reported type, reported source, reported atendency, reported protagonist, reported theme, then make a quantitative analysis ofthe above content.The third part analysis the Zhengzhou resident image combinedwith the specific case,and focuses on the image of groups of migrant workers andZhengzhou general public groups image, finally combines with some typical casesstudy Zhengzhou resident image. The fourth part mainly tells the disputes that aboutthe image of Zhengzhou resident between the network and the metropolis newspaper,then studies on the cause of this disputes.
