With the development of display technology,3D technology is increasinglybeing applied to life. Since the development of3D TV, we can enjoythree-dimensional viewing experience at home. In contrast with2D videos, thenumber of3D videos is so few, we often wonder whether we can convert the existing2D videos or our daily photographs and videos into3D format. Therefore, this paperpresents2D to3D system solutions.In order to watch3D videos, we need to wear3D glasses. The3D effect isdependent on the3D glasses. This paper describes a shutter3D glasses. In order tokeep pace with the TV, the shutter3D glasses receive the sync signal from TV tocontrol the switching glasses. According to the transmission mode of sync signal, thispaper introduces two kinds of shutter3D glasses: IR shutter3D glasses and RF shutter3D glasses.The first chapter introduces research background, the content and significance ofthe research from the current development of3D technology and the organizationstructure of the article. Firstly, the second chapter describes the3D display technologyand the3D glasses technology. Secondly, it describes the principle of liquid crystaldisplay technology and the driving principle of TFT LCD.The third chapter and the fourth chapter is the key content of this article. Thethird chapter describes the2D to3D system and the process of generating3D syncsignal. It includes2D to3D system, image processing module of3D,3DTCON circuit,sync signal transmission circuit. The fourth chapter describes the hardware circuitdesign and algorithm design about two different transmission mode of3D glasses.The first section of the fifth chapter describes the test methods of the3D effect.The second section describes the enterprise standard and the test methods of3Dglasses. Finally, the results of this paper has been successfully applied to the50-inch3D LCD TV. The results of this paper can be applied to3D LCD TV, we can achieve theanticipated effect through the test. The contents of this paper lays the foundation tothe further development of3D display technology and shutter3D glasses.
