With the continuous expansion of the production scale in modern industry, if we still rely on manpower to count the number of products produced during the production process, it will cause not only the waste of human resources, but also lead to unreliable results monitoring phenomenon. This article do some research about the basic theory of ZigBee technology, analyzed the networking method of ZigBee Technology, and then proposed a industrial output monitoring system based on wireless sensor network. The system consists of a monitoring system on PC and a number of producing monitoring nodes. The producing monitoring nodes mainly consist of MCU and ZigBee wireless transmission module. Its main function is to count the production by the software interrupt through sensor, display the count by digital tube, and then pass the data to a ZigBee module through the serial port, and finally transfer to the monitoring system on PC.The monitoring system on PC consists of a monitoring software and ZigBee wireless transmission module. Its main function is monitoring and statistics on product. The software is programmed in C++object-oriented language. The development environment is VC6.0, and using the MFC framework Microsoft to design the main interface. In the serial communication, is using the Microsoft provides Mscomm control, which is a bridge of serial communication program and serial port of PC programmed by advanced language, it makes the development of serial communication program easier. In aspect of data storage, is using the Microsoft Access database, and using ODBC (technology to access the database) to access the Access Database.The ZigBee wireless transmission module used in this system has the function of automatic routing, which greatly reduces the transmission distance limit in ZigBee protocol, so the working range of the system is greatly increased, which is in a leading position in the similar system. At the same time, the PC monitoring software has the advantages of simple operation, simple UI interface, easy maintenance, and also has storage and statistical analysis functions. Based on the above advantages, it makes the system has a very wide range of applications and high application value.
