With the rapid development of science and technology,how to link high-tech with publicservices,has become one of the purposes of high and new technology.It also has been a newdevelopment direction of high and new technology application at the same time. Because thecurrent market is not satisfied which demand for ultra-high resolution high speed digitaltransmission system,this paper is mainly aimed at it and carries on the research design.And itis that the corresponding research is carried on mainly for high definition video or highresolution image real-time compression transmission.The system can satisfy the long-distancetransmission of high speed with the light transmission.So it can meet the needs of manyengineering and has been applied in many occasions.The prospect of this technology is verygood.This topic put forward a design method of signal conversion which is based on betweenthe FPGA chip and optical fiber the conversion module with1.4standard HDMI interface.Thedesign method can realize signal conversion of the input1080p high-definition video andemission display again.Interface circuit uses ADV7612and ADV7511to receive and transmitthe video signal,which is8bits.This system uses FPGA as a development platform.It iscomposed of I2C bus configuration module,a string/and conversion module,the reuse of reusemodules/solution and sequential conversion module.HDMI interface receives the video signalsfrom outside.And then receiving the hd video signal uses FPGA to compression processingand controlling video signal. At the same time it includes the processing of audio and controlsignal.Convert the three parallel signals after processing which is including video signals,audio signals and control signals,etc,to a serial signal.Optical fiber terminal receives ahigh-speed serial signal.This design has realized the HDMI interface conversion to opticalfiber terminals.The system also implements the conversion from optical fiber module to theHDMI interface.It has realized the transmission of video signals.It also can realize thesynchronization of audio signals and control signals at the same time.The system’s realpurpose is to realize long-distance high-speed transmission of the high-definition video andthe real-time compression transmission from the receiver to launch.Improving the quality ofthe video display,the system can satisfy more fields to the requirements of high-speedhigh-definition video signal.
