| With the further development of society and archival undertaking, archivists are paying more and more attention to the personage archives. And managing personage archives has become an import part of archives work. Personage archives are all kinds of historical records belonging to a famous person, which come from the person’s life and are preserved for practical use. Personage archives are playing an influential role in enriching archives’ collection, optimizing collection structure and cultural heritage. As local comprehensive archives, the personage archives management work of the provincial archives can reflect the overall situation of our country’s archives work to some extent.Basing on the current situation of provincial archives’ personage archives, the paper deeply analyses problems and reasons of personage archives management in provincial archives, and gives some suggestions to the work in order to provide useful reference for the archives. This thesis mainly divides into four parts. The first part is the introduction，and it includes the setting and meaning of the study. The second part mainly discusses the overall state of provincial archives personage archives management work of thirty-one provincial archives except the archives in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan from four aspects involving the system construction, collection, storage and use of personage archives. The third part comprehensively describes problems and reasons during the management of personage archives. According to the situation of the personage archives management, the forth part further illustrates the measures to perfect the personage archives management work of provincial archives. |
