With the increased demand for social public security, video surveillance is constantly extended to every corner of society. The traditional way of video surveillance has been unable to meet the increasing surveillance need. The demand of intelligent video surveillance with all-weather, unattended, automatic alarm, real-time intelligence is becoming increasingly urgent. Therefore, the study of intelligent video surveillance technology has becoming a research hotspot in the field of video surveillance.Based on the study of key technologies for intelligent video surveillance,this paper implements a video analysis front-end system based on ADSP-BF561, and constructs a complete intelligent video surveillance system together with the network video server and the monitoring terminal.Key techniques research of intelligent video surveillance and building intelligent video analysis front-end system based on ADSP-BF561is the research emphasis in this paper, key techniques of intelligent video surveillance is studied at first, including moving object detection technology, moving object tracking technology and research of various kinds of computer vision processing algorithm. Research on key techniques of intelligent video surveillance provides a good theoretical basis and a solve route of function realization of technology for building intelligent video surveillance system. Building intelligent video analysis front-end system based on ADSP-BF561is another important task of the paper, the system is designed with dual-core application pattern for the dual-core structural features of BF561. Combined with the open source toolkit, we design and implement video frame collection, intelligent video analysis and H.264video coding in parallel mode as well as the transmission of compressed code stream, in order to improve the computing speed and meet the real-time requirements, the system has been optimized for DSP.
