The quality of indoor environment directly affects the quality of lifeand the efficiency of daily work, even in relation to the issue of humansurvival. We usually using environment comfort to evaluate the quality ofindoor environment, which is a concept used to measure people’ssatisfaction with the indoor environment under a certain mental state.Therefore, research on indoor environmental comfort has greatsignificance for creating a comfortable, quiet, and clean indoorenvironment. This paper studies the “Research on Indoor EnvironmentComfort Evaluation Method Based on Context Reasoning”,using theOntology Reasoning technology as the main means, set the indoorenvironment comfort assessment as the final goal. The work is conductedas follows:1.Construction of the domain ontology knowledge base about indoorenvironment: In the Research on Indoor Environment Comfort EvaluationMethod Based on Context Reasoning, the context information about indoorenvironment is the foundation of comfort evaluation. This paper presents amodel describing the physical node indoor environment, and for its specificcharacteristics define a fuzzy ontology construction on which designed afuzzy ontology framework which is suite for indoor environment and usingit in the construction of the domain ontology of indoor environment, whilefor the context information of the indoor environment has thecharacteristics of high real-time, designed a semi-automated physical real?time context information construction method, experiments show that themethod is effective.2.A research of evaluation method for indoor environment comfortlevel which is based on ontology inference: According to thecharacteristics of indoor environment comfort level that shows strongsubjectivity and various influence, this paper proposes an ontologyconstruction method of a comfort model which blends fuzzy set, choosessuitable gradient membership function to calculate the membership ofvarious influence, and depends on the value of membership to map thecomfort rating results. Meanwhile, it also builds a domain ontologyinference rule applying to the indoor environment comfort evaluation.Using Jena2as a tool. Experimental results show the proposed scheme isfeasible.3.According to the indoor environment comfort evaluation methodproposed in this paper, and combining with the indoor environmentcomfort evaluation needs and target set, this paper designed andimplemented a set of line test system of indoor environment comfort rating methodologies based on context reasoning. This test system can rate thecomfort level of indoor environment in real-time, and thus provide apowerful reference to adjust and control the indoor environment.
