Research And Application Of Ontology Based On Healthy Housing Domain

As the core technology of semantic web, ontolog has a better capacity of semanticexplanation. The ontology construction research towards professional fields, known asdomain ontology construction, is supposed to promote the development of professionalfields and widen the scope of ontology application.This paper introduces ontology to thefield of halthy husing. Based on the studies of factors of healthy housing, we constructhealthy housing domain ontology with the help of experts in this field. The domainontology implements the semantics standardization of computer applications in theindustry. Moreover, the constructed domain ontology is applied as a component in healthyhousing evaluation system through Web Services. It effectively supports experts in thefield to make decision. The main works of this paper are as follows:1. This paper summaries the research and development status of healthy housing andontology.2. This paper offers an improved method for ontology construction-MADRE. Onthe basis of MADRE, considering the characteristics of healthy housingknowledge, it presents a method of constructing healthy housing domainontology.3. This paper gives a reasoning method to verify the domain ontology from bothconcept and individual aspects. By establishing rules, we use Racer to achieve thelogic verification of the constructed domain ontology.4. This paper brings forward an ontology matching framework of healthy housing.Moreover, based on the experts’ knowledge, it determines the weight through theexperiments, which has been targeted with ontology matching method in thisfield.5. This paper achieves the construct healthy housing domain ontology which has612classes and2148properties.6. This paper also implements the application of the domain ontology as acomponent in healthy housing evaluation system.In this paper, we research a large relevant literature about domain of healthy housingand ontology. Based on the characteristics of healthy housing, we construct the domainontology.By the design of component,we achieve a healthy housing evaluation system onthe basis of healthy housing domain ontology. It plays very important guiding significance in the application of domain ontology.
