In the last10years, H Group, the largest electronic manufacturing subcontractorenterprise of the world, keeps being one of the most important cooperators of theleading electronics brands enterprise. However, with the change of the global economy,the subcontractor manufacturing industry is deteriorating. The main function of theoriginal MES of PC assembly department which attached to H Group is to record andcheck production information. In the current market environment, the passive mode ofinformation processing is no longer adapted to the needs of the productionmanagement. In order to satisfy the increasing demands of the customers, the existingMES should be optimized to match the production plan, to collect the real-timeworkshop data, to detect and prevent problems, and to track the products root coursetoo.This thesis discusses research and realization of the MES deeply in PC AssemblyDepartment of H Group which includes as followings:1. After analyzing the producing process of PC Assembly Department, actualdemands of MES was understood. Then the MES demands is analyzed and dividedfurther.2. Based on the actual demands and software development principles, the systemmodule and the technical route are defined and the structure model is designed.3. Some key technologies of MES are introduced. The core functionalities ofMES including the Process Control Interface, System Console, WIP Management andrelated logic are accomplished by using various software methodologies such asDelphi and SQL.4. For the Real time Monitoring Module, repair Expert Module and LineChecking Module which attached to the MES, the thesis introduces and realizes thefunction and structure of the modules.5. After unit and integrated test of the MES, the system bugs are solved. At lastthe implementation result is evaluated too.In the practical application of the PC assembly line, the optimized MES showsgood usability and have the feature of complete function, high configuration anduser-friendly design interface.
