As the aviation system developed rapidly, the requirements to real-timeperformance and accuracy of data transmission bandwidth are higher and higher. Inorder to meet the requirements and development of a new generation of aviation system,the standard IEEE1394b bus protocol must be restricted, which formed the new1394binterface requirements-SAE AS5643.There are CC (control node) and RN (remote node) two kinds of different nodes onthe bus.So as to realize the data transmission between different nodes. Based on theSAE AS5643agreement requires a series of interface equipment, including1394businterface board. Interface board is an excuse to realize integration of control and remotenode equipment. Completing the satisfied protocol defined communication schedulingand data transmission. And Interface board provides a logical interface to the hardwareand network management to achieve the accuracy of the network communicationscheduling and management functions.Virtual simulation technology is adapted to various national defence industry areas,for instance, aerospace, aviation, ships, weapons, defence industry. It is the key bussingtechnology to military product test and test technology development.Meanwhile, foreignvirtual simulation technology has been widely used in weapons and equipment from thesystem design to every application and training stage. Therefore, when designing aninterface board, the FPGA virtual simulation technology is indispensable. This paperelaborated the FPGA virtual simulation platform step-stone after designing interfaceboard. All of modules were achieved by using Verilog code, matched withcorresponding testcase (test item) to carry on detailed simulation experiment on everymodule and funcation of Interface board. The basic performance of subsidiary boardand protocol functions was successfully tested and achieved1394bus interface boardthe virtual platform authen ation as well.
