In recent years, strong profitability of e-commerce sites to make e-commerce siteshave sprung up in large numbers, an increasingly competitive market. At the same time,controlled by economic interests and stimulate further mature market segments,e-commerce sites the elderly have been born. But older e-commerce sites from thebeginning of the birth on the lack of a correct theoretical guidance, Without a strongmature business do support small-scale, low brand recognition, low economicefficiency and other e-commerce sites is a common phenomenon in the elderlye-commerce sites.This paper argues that, competitiveness is the ability of older e-commerce siteelements that constitute a system of marketing power, information power, services,power, prestige power, operating force, easy operation force, interactivecommunication ability. Currently, older e-commerce sites have accurate informationdissemination comprehensive, three-dimensional diversification of payment, such asoperating experience convenient humane competitive advantage. But there are alsoineffective brand marketing, lack of relevance and professional services, site securitylow reliability, the site irrational allocation of resources and other issues. Consumerpsychology and consumer behavior characteristics of older age groups compete withe-commerce sites for the elderly an important impact force, with the promotion of thiseffect, there are inhibitory.Enhance the competitiveness of elderly e-commerce sites’ strategy are such as:(1)Strengthen brand building, brand value and enhance the site brand marketing, brandextension strategy for the implementation of the website.(2)Improve service levels,enhance service awareness, enhance service availability, content and form ofinnovative services.(3) Improve the credit system, credit management system andenhance site security platform.(4) Promotion of qualified personnel, actively introduceprofessional talent, and improve the talent incentive mechanism, the implementation ofthe post exchange mechanism.(5) Improve the ability of technological innovation,improve technological innovation model and technology innovation mechanismwebsite.
