The design of intelligent lighting control system for college teaching building isbased on the energy saving. The waste of electric energy phenomenon is very normalbecause the lights of the classroom of teaching buildings work all the day in universities.By Summarizing the various reasons of electric waste, and analyzing the intelligentcontrol principle and control method,this paper design a intelligent lighting system of lowpower consumption and low cost.The intelligent lighting control system consists of the PC machine computer controltechnology, single-chip microcomputer control technology, power line carriercommunication technology and sensor technology. The system puts the PC machine as thecenter of the lighting control of the whole school buildings. The power line carrier moduleimplements the communication between the PC machine and the MCU. The MCU sendsthe information collected by sensors which includes the intensity of the natural light andthe number and the distribution of students in the classroom to the PC machine in the formof the carrier. Through sorting and analyzing the information sent by the MCU, the PCmachine sends lighting control command to MCU, and the MCU turns the lights on or off.All the system can realize automatic lights control, according to monitoring the classroomenvironment changes in real time, so as to achieve the purpose of saving energy.The lighting control system in this paper mainly designs the lower machine controlpart, the data acquisition part and the power line carrier part in the aspect of hard ware.The lighting control system meets the demands of environment protection in currentsociety, because it has a small volume, a low cost and a remarkable energy saving effectand it’s easy to be installed.
