With the development of modernization constructions in our country, urban lighting building more and more focus on the city's image, the requirements and the number of the lightings are increasing, at the same time energy shortage has become urgent problems of contemporary society. For road lighting, we can consider two aspects to reduce energy waste, one is the lamp, and the other is the lighting control system. As an energy saving, environmental protection and long life characteristics of the green light, LED lighting has become increasingly popular. The lighting control systems are a wide range of, there are many application examples. Based on the above two points, we combine the LED's own characteristics, designed a set of intelligent lighting control system.In the first chapter, the research background and significance are introduced; the LED technology and the current lighting control system development are described. At last, the author's main work is showed.In the second chapter, the existing means of communication are analyzed, the PLC technology and GPRS communications technology are focused. On the basis of all factors, the system structure which consists of three layers in hardware and two communication mechanisms is build.In the third chapter, the feature of noise, impedance and signal attenuation of the power line communication channel are analyzed. The conclusion of time vibration and randomness is drawn.In the fourth chapter, to cope with the difference of power line communication environment, two routing algorithms are designed. The ant colony algorithm and the dynamic update route algorithm which based on the ant colony algorithm are focused.In the fifth chapter, the current power line communication protocols are introduced. Reference to OSI model, the protocol for lighting control system based on PLC is designed. The software of master and terminal are developed while emphasis is placed on power line communication module.In the sixth chapter, the work of the dissertation and future research are summarized.
