In this paper, based on power line carrier communication technology is suitable for smalland medium sized lighting system, low cost、reliable performance of the control system, and itplay a useful role in changing the lighting control mode.Powerline network has a wide rangeof coverage and it has access to all kinds of buildings.In the construction of communicationsystem,it does not need extra lines laid, which is one of the biggest advantages of power linecommunication.In this paper, the studying of power line carrier communication includes the followingseveral aspects: researching of the power line carrier communication channel and themodulation mode, development of the system hardware and software. The power line carriercurrent communication is based on power line communication, so the channel is essential tostudy and it should be considered first. This paper analyses the characteristics of power linechannel,including classification of power line carrier communication channel noise, and noisemodel, etc.,and then give a power line transmission characteristics and transmission model.The modulation technology is the key to power line carrier communication, and itdetermines the transmission distance, the rate of power line carrier current communicationtransmission and anti-interference ability. This paper researchs from the feasibility andreliability of the power line carrier current communication, comparing the technology of thesekinds of modulation method, and the scope of application and advantages of all kinds ofdebugging technology. Finally, considering the economy and reliability, sequence spreadspectrum technology is directed as the power line carrier communication modulationtechnique.In the design of system, the system hardware is designed first, including designing andtesting the power module, the carrier communication module, serial communication module,etc., with a focus on the carrier communication module, the design of filter circuit decides thereliability of the received signal, and the design of the carrier emission module decides thecommunication distance and anti-interference ability of the entire system. The modularprogramming is used in software, which makes it easy to post code to test and maintain, andsave much time and effort. Through system testing, the communication is stable and reliable. Finally, the full text is summarized, and the prospects of research work is made to thepower line carrier communication.
