The program of generating the radio frequency experienced a simulated hybridtechnology from analog to digital technology development course. Now with thedevelopment of the radio frequency, increasingly dependent on high performance, featuresophisticated microwave frequency source, the digital frequency synthesis technology hasbeen extensive development and application, flexible control of complex performance hasbeen users of all age. While taking advantage of the programmable logic deviceFPGA/CPLD realization of microwave frequency synthesizer control of complex flexibleworking patterns, and you can control the electric auxiliary DAC attenuator adjustment inorder to achieve the overall design of the microwave frequency band signal levelthroughout the design band.Firstly, the PLL and programmable logic device FPGA/CPLD technology for a briefdescription of the principle, and then proposed a phase locked loop circuit design integratedvoltage controlled oscillator(VCO) of10MHz-3GHz, and at the same time with the clockmodule, power module, serial communication, PROM module, RF transceiver modules areconnected to complete the entire process of RF communication channel, and finally use DCpower supplies, signal sources, spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes and other instruments fordebugging and verification.The test results show that the design implements designed for the frequency bandpoint output control signals to reach the appropriate target, in order to verify the feasibilityof the programe, indicating that the use of programmable logic controls to achieve themicrowave frequency synthesizer control in terms of speed, intergration, such as improvedstability has an important reference value and meaning.
