Laser triangulation sensors offer a simple, non-contact and real-time methodto measure displacement, vibration, thickness, location and other information.Also,you can get the outline information of the object by using laser triangulationsensor scanning the objects. Currently, there is a big gap between we and foreigncountries on laser ranging technology, the current domestic laser ranging systemsare slow, simple, non real-time and in bad regulatory function, the laser rangingproducts in the market are mainly from Europe and America, expensively. thepaper based on laser triangulation measurement and embedded controllingtechnology,designs a complete and independent laser triangulation measurementsystems which is parallel running, high-speed and embedded.The whole systemcan achieve real-time and accurate measurement of displacement.The projection optical system of laser triangulation plays a important role onthe CCD optical beam quality. And the stability and accuracy of the measurementsystem are influenced by the noise and speckle model on CCD. So firstly, in thepaper the theoretical model of laser triangulation measuring is analyzed to designand optimize the optical parameters of the imaging light path. Secondly, to meetthe high-speed, real-time, multi-functional system requirements, the paper designsa FPGA and ARM based data acquisition and processing system which ishigh-speed, parallel running and embedded controlling systems. Thirdly, severalfilter effects and spot positioning algorithm are discussed according to the featureof data sampled by CCD, and the corresponding conclusions are given. Finally, onthe basis of established hardware platform, the paper builts a bench to have theverification experiments, which mean to test the stability and the non-linearity ofthe system. At last, the paper makes several discussion and analysis of theexperimental errors and pointed out the improved method.
