Mine drainage system is an important part of mine production, whose efficiencyand reliability has great significance for the safety. This paper takes the No.1050underground central pumping station of Kongzhuang Mine from Datun Coal andElectricity Company as the background, and designs an energy-saving and efficientautomatic mine drainage system by using computer, network communication, PLC,detection and automation technology.The system consists of PLC, sensors, local operation box, PC and controlnetwork, etc. Siemens S7-300series PLC, as the controlling core, collects parametersof each sensor, receives commands from PC and local control box, and issues start orstop commands to each control element. With buttons and touch-screen operation, thelocal control box is used to set the operating mode and display the pump operatinginformation. Using industrial Ethernet structure, the control network achieves theconnection between PLC and PC.The optimal scheduling strategy under two different goals,“power saving” and“cost saving”, is discussed in the paper. Based on the optimal strategy of Avoid peakand Take valley, the first part takes electricity cost saving as the goal of optimalcontrol strategy and applies in actual production. In the second part, a dynamicprogramming model is created, the optimal strategy of “power saving” and “costsaving” is proposed, and the method of establishing the model and solving steps aregiven.PC control system is designed with the Siemens WinCC configuration software,achieving in controlling the start and stop of underground pump and monitoring itsoperation on the ground. With alarm logging, data archiving and other functions, thesystem provides an intuitive and visual platform.The field operation shows that the configuration of the automatic drainagesystem is reasonable, safe, reliable and efficient, improving the productivity andmodern management level of coal mining enterprises.
