In recent years, with the development of embedded technology, the position ofresearch of embedded graphics systems in the embedded systems has become more andmore important, and research of embedded graphics system used in industrial controlfield has become also very popular. Ink-jet printer is a typical industrial controlembedded marking equipment, which is the main representative of industrial markingfield. With a wide range application of ink-jet printer in industrial marking fields, therequirement of its graphical design system is become more and more high.However, due to the late start of domestic ink-jet printer than foreign, the graphicdesign system of ink-jet printer, when compared with foreign countries, there are stillhave some defect of it, especially the operability, versatility, reliability, scalability,reusability, maintainability in the graphic design system, and the aspects of reliability,high-speed of transmission of charging code data in graphics system. In order to solvethese problems, we carried out some research as follows:Firstly, introduce us some features in the field of embedded graphic design systemsin manufacturers of ink-jet printer home and abroad, analyze its shortcomings andfuture develop trends, I proposed the design principles and goals of this system, designa good foundation platform of the system’s software and hardware. On the base of above,this paper provide a component-based graphic design systems development solutionunder the environment of Linux and Qt.Secondly, based on above solution, in order to implement the system, this systemadopt five key technology as the main support ways. The key technologies include Qtcomponent technology, mail communication technology, QGraphicsScene/QGraphicsVi-ew framework technology, memory mapping technology and the charge compensationmechanism, the reliability mechanisms of file system. Qt component technology ispropitious to the system scalability, reusability and maintainability; mail communicationprotocol is mainly to protect the reliability of data transmission or commands betweenupper and lower machine; QGraphicsScene/QGraphicsView framework to ensure thatgetting the charging code data accurately and quickly; memory mapping technicalsupport transfer charging code data quickly, the charge compensation mechanism ensurethe system good printing effect greatly; in order to protect the entire file system of thedevice is not due to man-made or accidental damage in long-term stably running by file system reliability mechanisms, therefore improving the reliability of this system.Finally, based on the results of the above research, in order to verify the feasibility,reliability and practicality, the graphics design system is installed on the domesticink-jet printer on DAYSJET-18#, passing the rigorous editing and printing integrationtesting, system achieve the desired goals.
