Laser marking technology has been widely used in various fields of industrial production. The traditional industrial laser marking equipments generally consists of IPC, control board, PC control software, laser generator and laser high-speed galvanometer etc. These traditional machines are difficult to communicate with network data, the level of its integration is poor and vulnerable to virus attacks.It has been more and more unable to adapt to the requirements of multistage production environment that full of dust and electromagnetic interference.For this reason, this paper presents a networked solution scheme that based on the embedded system which integrates several control modules.Through the change of data transmission mode, the scheme can realize the change of production control mode of laser marking, thereupon then the laser marking technology is out from the IPC and the operating system and the control software. The embedded Ethernet which is constructed by the STM32 CPU and the RTL8019AS chip is used for the data receiving and sending, and the major function of laser marking of this system is accomplished by the laser control module and the laser motion control module. In addition, the paper deeply studies the generation and control mechanism of the laser, the control mechanism of the laser high-speed galvanometer and the laser marking control algorithm, and on the basis of these theoretical researches, the software and hardware design of the whole system is realized. Furthermore, according to the system design and the comprehensive marking experiment, this paper also thoroughly explores and analyzes the influence factors and the evolution mechanism of the network laser marking performance.The laboratory and enterprise marking experiments shows that the system integration and the network laser marking are effectively implemented in this study, it provides a new solution for the control mode of large-scale cluster deployment laser processing, and at the same time it also provides a theoretical and technical foundation for the realization of the industry 4.0 advanced production control concept.
