The flexible change rang measurement illustrates the ability to adapt of the flexiblepoint and the difficulty degree of the implement. It is conducive to the operation andmaintenance of the software and the expansibility of the function. In order to measure theflexible change range more accurately and objectively, the software flexible changemodel is constructed and the flexible point change propagation impact model is made andthe software function point analysis method is improved and the completed flexiblechange measurement model is proposed.Firstly, the software flexible theory introduces the flexible relation concepts and thefunction point types and recognition rules and analysis process are illustrated.The modellanguage UML and propositional logic concepts are explained. The theory of the flexiblechange range measurement and the technical basis are elaborated.Secondly, the flexible change model is researched to illustrate the software flexiblechange. The flexible point change propagation impact is defined and the flexible pointchange propagation impact graph and the constructed process are given. The calculationrules are supplemented and the function point analysis method is improved.Again, the basic elements such as the flexible point, the flexible change range and theflexible change components are defined. The measure metrics including the basic metricsand derived metrics are analyzed. The three-tier structure of the flexible change model isillustrated. The flexible change range measurement process is given using the flow chart.The flexible change range measurement model is proposed.Finally, the techniques and tools of the measure system set up are introduced.Thesystem functions and the database and the measurement process are designed. Themeasure system functions are implemented and the application example is given. Theweb-oriented flexible change range measurement platform is designed and implemented.
