User-Oriented Software Flexible Points Testing

In order to ensure the software quality, and improve software flexibility, the test model of user-oriented software flexible points with flexible points as a core element of the software is built. This dissertation mirrors some test methods of black-box testing, equivalence class partitioning, boundary value analysis, error guessing, orthogonal experiment method, scenario generation, etc. designs test cases according to the characteristic of different flexible points, aims at the test of kinds of flexible points to make intensive study.Firstly, the basic theory of software testing which includes the definition of software testing, the purpose and principles of software testing are analyzed, the software testing with different points of view is classified, some theory about test cases is described detailedly.Secondly, the definition of user-oriented software flexible points are proposed, the characteristic of software flexible points are summaried, the methods of the identification and confirmation of flexible points, flexible points are classified and the definition of four kinds of flexible points are given, test model of user-oriented software flexible points with flexible points as a core element of the software is purposed. This model displays the test process and the main aspect of user-oriented software flexible points testing, not only flexible points need testing, and also at the same time other parts of the software affected by flexible points need testing, at last regression testing need done continuously.Thirdly, the testing of flexible points is analyzed detailedly, the test solutions adapting to different flexible points are proposed, the appropriate test cases aiming at different flexible points are designed, and their test process and method are described detailedly.Finally, according to the cases of Microsoft Excel 2003 and online bookstore, every kind of flexible point testing is analyzed, the correctness and usability of different flexible points'test solution, test process and test methods is validated, the effectiveness of the model of user-oriented software flexible points is illustrated.
