Discusses the architecture of the radar RF simulatorbased on DRFM. The analysis of the application of VxWorks as the real-time system usingin InSAR simulator is given. Complete the implementation as a real-time contral systembased on VxWorks in the echo simulator of InSAR.Firstly, a summary of the system about this InSAR simulator is listed. In the secondparagragh, this paper talks about the brief theory of DIFM. The mathematical model aboutthe theory of the echo simulation of InSAR is discussed. The structure of DRFM has beenintroduced, and analyses what the micro wave unit consist of. The environment on whichthe VxWorks is running is presented. As a powerful tool, Visual Studio2010is also usedto develop display and control unit.Secondly, the key point of this paper is VxWorks in the development of InSARapplication.This papaer discusses the kernel of VxWorks at first, then, designs a multi-taskschedule for this system. The BSP is consisted of many file written by C. The design of astart up plan suit for this system is given. The workflows of this system are analysed, thedesign of the main flow of VxWorks application is depend on the system workflow. Theblue prints of the application based on Visual Studio are given.Thirdly, this paper designs the interface driver of this system and figures out thecommunication protocol. Specifies the interface driver of PCI bus, Ethernet,1553B busand VMIC5565reflect memory net. The scheme about how to control the baseband unitand microwave unit is given.Finally, the test and verify result of the system controlled by VxWorks is figured out.Tests the PCI driver’s correctness, verifies the communication on the Ethernet. The outputsignal quality controlled by VxWorks has been measured.
