As the technology of GEO SAR is highly development, the technology of GEOInSAR/D-InSAR, which can picture the terrain and detect the tiny displacement of thesurface, draws more and more scientists’ attentions, and becomes the hot topic in thedomain of SAR technology. Compared with the traditional LEO SAR, GEO SAR hasobvious advantages in spatial and temporal coverage characteristics, so the technology ofGEO InSAR/D-InSAR will be more useful in the future. In this paper, the system of repeat-pass GEO InSAR/D-InSAR is analyzed detailedlywith the help of software STK. Then this paper analyzes the constellation design of thedistributed GEO InSAR/D-InSAR orbit and simulates the baseline they formatted, verifiesthe GEO InSAR/D-InSAR system through numerical simulation.First of all, this paper analyzes the influence of different kinds of perturbation forceson GEO SAR orbit and compares them, here the two typical GEO SAR orbits, that is,figure ’slant8’ orbit and figure ’ellipse’ orbit are exemplified. Combine the characteristics ofGEO SAR orbit and the baseline algorithm of LEO SAR, this paper proposes a newbaseline algorithm which is suitable for repeat-pass GEO InSAR/D-InSAR system, andsimulates the baseline of the two typical orbits. And then, this paper analyzes the statisticalcharacteristics of interferometric phase and analyzes kinds of decorrelation factors whichreduce the correlation properties of the SAR images, analyzes the precision of GEOInSAR/D-InSAR system and simulates to verify the conclusion.Second, this paper analyzes the LEO SAR constellations exist detailedly, classifies andmodels them based on the formate methods they implemented, then analyzes the formatemethods which are suitable for the GEO SAR orbit, and designs the constellation orbit ofdistributed GEO InSAR/D-InSAR systems based on the result of the best baseline analysis, simulates the baseline of the distributed GEO InSAR/D-InSAR systems, here also the twotypical GEO orbits are exemplified. In the study of LEO InSAR/D-InSAR technology, there are always many pairs ofcomplex SAR images to use for research; however there is no GEO SAR exists, workshould be begin from echo simulation on the study of GEO InSAR/D-InSAR technology. This paper proposes a new method for echo simulation, which is suitable for GEOInSAR/D-InSAR study, based on the characteristics of GEO SAR, and studies the phasepreservation imaging algorithm on time domain and frequency domain separately. At theend, this paper simulates the process of InSAR/D-InSAR signal processing, and the resultverified the feasibility of GEO InSAR/D-InSAR system.
