Coherent processing technology and matched reception technology have been widely used in new radar systems. It makes traditional jamming techniques failed. The development and improvement of Digital Radio Frequency memory (DRFM) technique can adapt to the complex environment of alterable modulated signals. In addition, it can keep jamming signals being coherent with jammed radar signals. So the jamming effect of DRFM is better than that of traditional jamming techniques. In fact, DRFM techniques open a new realm of ECM in the application of Electronic warfare.In this paper, we describe the basic principle of DRFM from the point of Electronic Warfare and give a new method of wide band DRFM at lGHz sample rate. We also analyze the techniques: electro magnetic compatibility, thermal design and signal integrity.In this paper, we firstly analyze the structure of radar jamming instrument based on DRFM. We also research jamming modulation based on DRFM: deception jamming and digital noise-modulated jamming technology. Then we give a method to realize the baseband digital deception jamming technique based on DRFM. In the method, we principally focus on the study of Doppler frequency modulation using digital orthogonal mixing method and apply successfully it to realize the deception jamming technique in our project. |
