With the development of information technology in our country, the enterprises’ marketcompetitiveness is closely related to the degree of enterprises’ integrated informationizemanagement. For the current rapid development of the subway,if shield constructionenterprises want to obtain higher competitiveness which must reduce the construction cost.While the cost of materials hold a big space in terms of reducing the total cost ofconstruction.Therefore, this paper studied the workflow of materials management.In view ofthe lack of the workflow of materials management, the thesis developed the shieldconstruction material’s automatic control systems based on shield construction materialsautomation dispatching and data acquisition. The system adopted the advanced ERPtechnology and combined with network technology to realize the centralized management ofall construction projects. Meanwhile the system achieved the shield construction materials’the automation,the fined and the standardized remote management mode. Thereby, to reducethe material costs and improve the enterprises’ market competitiveness.The subject adopted the advanced controller technology to solve the problem of dataentry and data collection on materials control management system. Through the LANcombined the sensors on the shield machine, mixing stations and other equipment, theasynchronous multi-core PAC, mobile handheld devices and database server with together toform a closed materials system to monitor and to collect real-time data of the materialsconsumption. The materials automated collection system, reducing the trouble of manual dataentry, improving the accuracy and timeliness of materials data.This paper focused on the design of materials control management system.The groupleaderships, materials management personnel could make decisions through the remotemanagement system. The system included three subsystems based on the total constructioncost of different types of materials on the shield construction, respectively materialsmanagement, tools management, segments management. First, according to the actualsituation of materials management, from three aspects of the purpose goal, the source of basic data and overall structure to analyze each subsystem’s needs. In addition to this, the thesiscompleted the design of the data table’s fields each subsystem and established material controlbasic database; Secondly, according to the actual needs of the shield construction materialsmanagement completed the design of function modules each subsystem. Achieved theinformation and standardized management in the process of materials procurement,consumption, stocks and so on. Finally, through the each subsystem’s analysis modules tosummarize the function in reducing the shield construction materials costs. Thus, completedthe development and designed of materials automation control management system.
