In recent years, along with the rapid development of computer network technology,information technology and other high-tech, digital publishing industry, as a new industry,is developing very rapidly, and expanded rapidly. Gradually, it becomes a new growthpoint of the publishing industry because the product of it is rich and technologyinnovation, which was attached great importance to and support by the governmentdepartments. Many companies and organizations are also actively joining them. Digitalpublishing is an important part of the development of modern news publishing industryas a significant part of cultural industry. It has a very important and far-reachingsignificance on foreign cultural communication; enhance the core competitiveness of thenational culture, and meet the people’s diverse, multi-level, multi-faceted spiritual andcultural needs, to achieve and other aspects of sustainable economic development.Shaanxi is a province with strong cultural, educational, scientific and technologicalresources, but the development of digital publishing industry in our province is still in itsinfancy. The digital publishing market is potentially large, while the real market is small,and there are many industrial constraints There are more aspects conditions to be maturefor digital publishing. There are opportunities and challenges on both side.The object of this research is to analyze the Shaanxi status and characteristics ofdigital publishing; to summarize the main issues of the constraints of industrialdevelopment; to put forward the constructive sustainable development strategies andmeasures for Shaanxi digital publishing. The method of this study is mainly containedliterature research, data analysis, and case studies. By a series of research and exploration,We try to enrich the scientific and systematic theoretical for Shaanxi digital publishing,support and further promote the transformation, and to build a more competitive andviable development new models for Shaanxi digital publishing industry.
