The reading media of the mass also have began to transfer the traditional paper-based into emerging multimedia, The multimedia reading types such as Phone reading, on-line reading, and downloading are becoming wide used, Computers, mobile phones, ipad, e-readers and other reading devices continue to emerge, all of these implies it has already set off a wave of digital publishing. The development of our digital publishing was forward pushed by the digital technology suppliers at the beginning,the traditional publishers were fell behind, in such intense competition digital publishing era, what the traditional publishers should do to seize the opportunity,to change their roles, to play their strengths, to find an effectively way transferring to digital publishing, is an important issue to solve immediately.This thesis will take the traditional press as the research subject,combing the development of its digital context,analysing the achievements and shortcomings,so as to find out the reasons of restricting the digital transformation from such aspects: the bounded traditional press system、the haven’t uniform digital publishing technical standards、the difficulties in digital publishing copyright protection and the delayed relevant laws,then indicating6ways to follow: to tansform management stystem、to change its characters、to build a digital publishing industry chain、to form vorious profit modes from single to multiple、to strengthen the protection sense of digital copyright and focus more sense on digital publishing training.
