In recent years, Professional terms Digital Family, Wireless communication, MobileConnect and Wireless network frequently leap to our eyes, which attributes to widespreadexpansions of networks、improvements of communication technology and promotion ofsoftware and hardware’s function, such as chip’s function. It gradually penetrates into everyfields of life, which represents future’s mainstream-Intelligent Life. With Wireless SensorNetwork’s(WSN) features. WSN will be the footstone of Intelligent Life, so worldwidenations expand their supports on research of WSN.ZigBee, one of short-haul communication technology, is quite suitable in many areassuch as Smart Home, Industry control, and Medical assistance. So people widely recognizethat WSN based on ZigBee technology plays a key role in Intelligent Life. One of theimportant direction of its research is the design of the low energy consumption, highefficiency routing protocol. AODVjr protocol applies generally in place where there needplenty of network nodes, because its advantage will be reflected. However, it is not the bestfrom resource consumption and efficiency’s prospect when the number of the network’s nodeis small. Moreover, Intelligent Life demands network must operate in high-efficiency wayboth in small-scale occasion and in large-scale occasion. but the researcher focus their eyes onthe latter and negelect the former. To meet the demands, the text introduces new SS-Clusterprotocol, and goes into detail on its realization and operation mechanism. Otherwise, the pagecompares its performance with AODVjr on the Omnet++platform, which aims atdemonstrating that SS-Cluster is superior.
