In recent years, the computer technology, wireless sensor network technologyand communication technology are getting better and mutual infiltration, vehicularsensor network technology is increasingly mature. It promotes the connectionbetween vehicles, and combines with the traditional communication network. It isexpected to promote traffic information system more intelligent, gives full play to theutilization of existing roads, and solve urban traffic problem increasingly prominent.In order to improve the vehicular sensor network’s application in the trafficinformation system, high efficiency of network transmission and small transmissiondelay are required. How to improve the efficiency of network transmission andreduce transmission delay is vehicular sensor network need to solve.In this thesis, it studies vehicular sensor network, analyses ZigBee routingprotocol, and discusses how to improve the algorithm on the basis of the ZBR routingprotocol algorithm, then suitable IM-ZBR algorithm for vehicular sensors network,and through the simulation analysis proves that the IM-ZBR algorithm transmissionis more efficient.The main content is as follows:(1) This paper studies on vehicular ZigBee network technology, analyzes thevehicular sensors network and ZigBee technology, and vehicular network structure isproposed based on ZigBee;(2) The thesis analyzes three types of routing protocol of ZigBee, AODVjr,Cluster-Tree and ZBR, and analysis their own network delay, packet delivery ratioand routing cost through the simulation experiment, then proves ZBR routingprotocol is better than AODVjr and Cluster-Tree protocol.(3) It analyzes the defects of ZBR protocol combines with the characteristics ofthe vehicular sensor network routing, IM-ZBR algorithm is obtained by improved,and compares the performance of the IM-ZBR and ZBR algorithm by using thesimulation analysis, then proves IM-ZBR slightly better than ZBR algorithm.Improvements include the following: First, control the way of packet transmission,improve the packet delivery rate; Second, set survival time for packet, decrease transmission of invalid packet, and reduce routing cost; Third, optimize the depth ofnodes, decrease the number of packet forwarding, and reduce transmission delay;Fourthly, set load value for nodes, optimize network structure, and improve theefficiency of network.
