The Design And Implementation Of Tutor Information Management Platform Based On JBPM

As the elite group of university teachers, supervisors are not only important to the personneltraining, but also are a basic foundation of the scientific research for one university. As theimportant support to the supervisor management, the supervisor information managementplatform has become an important foundation for Digital Campus Building. Recently, with theapplication of IT in Digital Campus Building, quite a few universities has built up their ownsupervisor managerment systems, and the NUDT also has similar systems like the home page ofpartial supervisor. But the existing management system is construted years ago and its datastandards are not uniform to other information systems’ which leads to outdated information,difficult maintaining, low utilization rates and other problems. And at the same time, the buildingand management of supervisor team mechanism continues to explore and the needs forcorresponding system change quickly.To solve this outstanding problem and accumulate information integration of informationconstruction effectively, the university started the construction of innovative managementplatform of supervisor information. The aim is to establish a platform which is highly integratedwith the Graduate Education Management Information System and contains both supervisorinformation management module and supervisor selection module. The main contents of thispaper are listed as follows.1. On the basis of a deep analysis of the work flow technology,, through in-depth study ofthe Struts framework, Spring framework and Hibernate framework, these open sourceframework are integrated to form a JBPM-based Java EE development framework with a highdegree of flexibility, scalability, reuse characteristics2. On the basis of a deep analysis of the actual needs of the supervisor informationmanagement platform and the existing system, through the detailed analysis and design of thefunctions of information providing process, information statistical process, the identityverification process and the selection verification process, the building programs for supervisorinformation management platform is setted up which contains two parts, further expansion of thesupervisor information management module and to transform the supervisor selection systemsbased on JBPM. 3. The realization of backend database, supervisor information management and thetransformation of supervisor selection systems based on JBPM are completed. And the wholeplatform test has finished and the platform has been on-line since2012,morever,it get a goodeffect.At present, the supervisor information management platform has been run for six months.The2012annual university supervisor selection has completed effectively by using the platform.The successful application of the platform can supply useful references for the informationconstruction of universities.
