Research On The Special Issues Of NCCPC Of The People’s Daily

The People’s Daily, all the time, has been reporting on the major conferences, such asthe National Congress of the Communist Party of China(NCCPC), the NationalPeople’s Congress and CPPCC meetings, especially focusing on the media coverageon NCCPC. It was by the time of the16th NCCPC that did the form of the specialissues appear.Not only do the special issues of NCCPC report on the development andachievements in all areas of the country under the leadership of the Communist Party,but also acting as the image transmission carrier of the Communist party. So it is withsignificant importance and research value.Therefore, by literature analysis, this article has tried to define the concept of thespecial issues of the NCCPC, and sorted out its course of development. Then, take the16th,17th and18th NCCPC special issues of the People’s Daily as examples, analyzethe layout and features columns. And through framework analysis methods, analyzethe news frames and picture frames of special issues of the People’s Daily, thussumming up the personality and reporting features of the special issues of NCCPC. Atthe same time, putting forward some advices to strengthen the politicalcommunication efforts of the special issues is essential, such as diversifyinginformation sources, increasing the amount of objective reporting, balancing variouskinds of news frames, focusing on the balance of the social and economic benefits.
