"People’s Daily" Reported Issues Of Hepatitis B

Thirty years of reform and opening up, the incidence and morbidity of hepatitis B in the statutory report infectious disease has been high on the list, there are about120000000hepatitis B virus carriers in China, the world’s total number of1V3, and hepatitis B patients more than2millions of people, ranking first in the world. In China, hepatitis B is not only a problem of public health concern, because of prejudice and discrimination of hepatitis B, hepatitis B has evolved into social and psychological problems.In view of "people’s Daily" and the authority of the mainstream, on the past twenty years,"people’s Daily" reported the changes of hepatitis B value orientation analysis, will help to explore the social attitude of hepatitis B change process and found that the media path to eliminate hepatitis B stereotype. Starting from the perspective of communication, by using the method of content analysis and text analysis combined, studied twenty years of "people’s Daily" hepatitis B reported issues construction mode and the value orientation of report change. The study found,1991to2011in twenty years,affected by the political, economic and social situation,"people’s Daily" value orientation of hepatitis B reports has undergone three stages of changes. In2003for the sector, and presents the obvious change, mainly from macro to micro and macro and case; from stereotype to the humanistic care, reported position gradually tilted to the HBV group; the focus from physical to psychological, need for attention level etc..The author believes that, in the future the hepatitis B reports, media should pay attention to demand way adjustment to make it more conducive to readers, while enhancing the humanistic concern and empathy, concerned about hepatitis B group survival predicament and psychological health, to prevent hepatitis B stereotype, call for love and respect.
