With the development of it’s construction, the full use of Electronic health records is thethinking and practicing topic in the current situation. As one of the users, medical institution’sdemand is diversifed. In order to satisfy the need of medical institution in the utiliztion ofElectronic health records, and also improve the efficiency of medical institution,the medicalservices, and in-depth medical research, this paper studies the Electronic health records’applied status of the medical institution in China currently, and summarize the problems in theElectronic health records utilization process, propose effective solutions for better use ofElectronic health records in medical institutions. It has some theoretical and practicalsignificance to our country’s construction and utilization of Electronic health records.Based on the existing research results and social news,this paper adopts the methods ofliterature research,case studies and comparative research to explore the use of Electronichealth records in medical institutions. In this paper,the first chapter is introduction to thecontent of the study, the research status and significance of this paper. The second chapterdescribes the relationship between medical institutions and Electronic health records, andmedical institutions needs about Electronic health records, and summarized the currentsituation of Electronic health records utilization in our country by the different types medicalinstitutions. The third chapter analyzes the existing problem in the process of Electronichealth records utilization. The fourth chapter proposes improvement strategies to the thirdchapter, in order to better use the Electronic health records.Finally. At last, it is summary ofthis paper.
