The Research And Realization Of Residents’ Health Records Management System

With the rapid development of society and economy, people’s living standardshave been improved increasingly, residents’ health has become one of the focus ofcontemporary society. The health care industry’s inevitable developing trend, in ourcountry, is to realize the informationization development. And the health care industry’sinformationization is the urgent requirement of deepening medical and health systemreform. So the top priority of the medical and health industry information constructionis to establish electronic health records which can let sharing residents’ healthinformation become true. And adopt scientific and standardized management method tomanage residents’ health information. However, because of the study of medical andhealth informationization in our country started later than other countries, and had lessunified information planning and related standards, so the health records managementsystem which in use now, has no unified information collection standard. What’s more,the information silos and data redundancy exists between different information systems,which can’t really realize the medical information resources sharing.In order to eliminate the differences between health care information systems, andlet residents health information sharing become true. This paper conductedinvestigations and analysed of present health archives management system, and studieda large amount of relevant health service specification. Then proposed taking thenational basic public health services, health records structure and data standards as basicinformation collection rules, to develop the health records management system. Thishealth records management system has been developed by using the current popularobject-oriented program design ideas and combining with computer programmingtechnology. This information management system is characterized by using uniformstandards for information collection, and can easily integrate with other medical andhealth information systems.The health records management system, which studied in this paper, has beendeveloped on the PowerBuilder development platform by using PowerScript anddatabase programming technology. This system chose three layers of C/S architecture asthe working mode, and used Oracle database to store and manage the residents’ health information. This paper focused on the system analysis, system detailed design and thekey technological research elaborated on the design and implementation process ofresidents’ health records management system. To ensure the developed softwaresystem’s reliability, the software testing method of black-box was been used to test thissystem. This system makes up for deficiency of similar software systems, its successfuldevelopment and widely used plays an important role in improving the quality andefficiency of health service, optimizing the resources distribution of medical and healthservices, realizing the residents health information sharing, promoting the developmentof medical and health information.
