The arrival of the information era represented by computer technology andnetwork technology caused profound changes from all social walks of life. Medicalscience gradually blended with information science, and traditional medicine startedto move toward modernization. In order to adapt to the development of modernmedicine, it is necessary for China to timely change the concept of traditional medicaltreatment, medical mode and hospital service, and to build a new type of medicalservice system. In addition to realizing the modernization of medical equipment andmedical concepts, and the key is to create uniform and standardized electronicmedical records system with the patient as the center based on this.Electronic medicalrecords digitalize recording process of diagnostic information with patients as thesubject, realizing the collection, processing, service, transmission and storage of userinformation, and individual electronic medical records system of the patients is set up.The setup of electronic medical records information system is the product of historicalproduct of the development of network technology, and it is an important part ofmodern medical service.This papers combines research and application status at homeand abroad, follows actual situation of Chinese medicine development and themedical records standard issued by the Ministry of Health of the People’s Republic ofChina, sets out from the perspective of the doctor, establishing a complete set of theelectronic medical record management system with safety database directing at twoaspects including the design of backend supporter database and foregroundapplication. The requirement on the office automation of medical recordsmanagement is realized, the waste of resources is reduced, the speed and efficiency ofthe doctor diagnosis are improved, this standardization for hospital medical recordsystem is facilitated, and the development of medical information construction inChina is accelerated. This paper mainly expounds the whole design process ofhospital electronic medical records management system, and the developmentframework is implemented.The design framework of Browser/Server (B/S) model design is mainly utilized in this electronic medical records management system, SQL Server2008is selected asthe background database, ASP embedded HTML language is applied in software codedesign. Main operations are shown as follows:(1)The background, purpose and significance of electronic medical recordsmanagement software design is analyzed, the research status at home and abroad islooked into, the overall design objective of electronic medical record system isestablished.(2)The hardware facilities and technologies, database technology, software applicationtechnology and Web application technology involved in the process of softwaredesign are compared and analyzed.(3).The feasibility of the system, performance requirements, data requirements, andsystem functional requirements are analyzed.(4) The software system structure and background database are designed, theperformance testing and functional testing are implemented on the basis ofcompletion, they are approved in tests, analysis results and conclusions are obtained,and the evaluation on such system test is applied.
