The certain type of equipment is a more advanced military equipment at present. High and new in technology, complicated in structure and expensive in price, the equipment not only holds a pivotal position in modern warfare, but also becomes the major training object in some training institutions and in some special courses. However, the existing equipments fail to meet the increasing demand of teaching both in quality and in quantity, because of a series problems, such as too many training tasks and personnels but the small number of equipments, and long lasting running which overloads and wears the equipments. So a training simulators can be developed for actual training. Through controlling the corresponding switches on the panel and operating widgets, a variety of equipment conditions and fault phenomena can be accurately simulated. In this way, the actual using time can be reduced, the using expectancy can be extended and teaching environments get improved, so that in the case of limited budget, intensified training and severe wear and tear, the training effects of opertaters and maintenance capabilities of technicians still get improved.The thesis analyzes our army’s modern equipments’resources issues rising in daily trainin, teaching and security, and discusseshe researching feasibility, the current researching situation and the main implementation method of the training stimulator, proposing the specific methods for developing the training simulator matching the certain type of equipment. Based on LabVIEW virtual instrument technology, the paper gives the design of the simulator, realizing three functions:software simulation operational training, signal detection training and fault diagnosis training.The paper’s major researching points are as follows:1. To realize the purpose of developing the training simulator system, after considering the funding, training effects, system upgrading and other factors, the paper proposes implementation scheme based on virtual instrument, and through comparative analysis, determines the best method.2. Achieving the LabVIEW-based hardware circuit of the training simulators for the certain type of equipment. The design includes data acquisition and circuit of the outside etc. 3. Achieving the LabVIEW-based software circuit of the training simulators for the certain type of equipment. The design includes the interface module, Lab VIEW front panel, LabVIEW block diagram and other parts.4. Testing the performance and function of the LabVIEW-based training simulators for the certain type of equipment, and showing the completing process of the system.
