Yu Yingchao developed his own specific classroom teaching art with his years’ experience for Chinese teaching, especially in perspectives of the construction of teaching structure, the selection of teaching content, the teaching design and the polish of teaching language. He emphasized the lead-in of classroom teaching in the fields of teaching structure. Question and answer lead-in could invoke the students’ thirst for knowledge, while direct lead-in could point out the learning task tersely. These two ways achieved better teaching effect in the practical teaching; Yu Yingchao set off a artistic climax in classroom teaching with his sector style ideas, namely, improved students’ ability for reading and writing skillfully, he also used the main problem to help students understand the text and maintain their innovative thinking; his interesting and erudite class ending lead students to endless aftertastes. In the adjustment of class procedure, his segment teaching and main question teaching could regulate the teaching procedure flexibly and make it more effective. For different teaching content, in prose reading teaching,Yu Yingchao focuses on exploring writer’s language and emotion; In novel reading teaching, he interpret the text to determine the teaching goal, and to choose teaching content according to the students’ experience in reading novels; in the teaching of classical Chinese, he helped students understand the text’s connotation by reading and reciting on the basis of the understanding of students learning. For the design of teaching questions,Yu Yingchao used "main problem" to innovate the classroom questioning, stipulated answer format and made the teaching point more clear. Non-question question-designing also make the classroom’s atmosphere more freedom, he combined the main problem with segment in the design,which expand the depth and breadth of teaching. For the polish teaching language, based on different texts, Yu Yingchao set the different context to lead students to get a better understanding with his concise, accurate and poetic teaching language. However, Yu Yingchao’s teaching art maintained some defects, such as there are too much direct lead-in in teaching procedure, the lack of suspense and the simple teaching language also made students caught unawares. Chinese teachers should learn from Yu Yingchao’s advantages in teaching, and improve their teaching level by apply Yu’s experience to practical teaching.
