Chinese calligraphy is an ancient and full of vitality of the arts. In order to inherit and carry forward the Chinese excellent culture and improve students’ humanistic quality, it is necessary to have the responsibility to study and implement the calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools.This paper selects some primary and secondary schools in Anshun City, Guizhou Province as the research object, and adopts the methods of questionnaire, interview, practice and literature review. But is mainly based on questionnaire survey, supplemented with random conversations, micro channel, QQ, telephone, email and other methods of investigation and study, aims of Anshun City middle and primary school calligraphy education present situation investigation and study, points out the our city calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools to develop the main problems restricting, and a comprehensive analysis of the reasons, suitable to explore the feasibility of the development of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools teaching strategies.This paper is divided into five chapters, the first chapter describes the research background, purpose, significance, domestic and foreign research on related issues and the research methods and innovations of this paper. The second chapter takes the development of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools as a starting point, briefly outlines the status and characteristics of the development of calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools in Guizhou. In the third chapter, according to the field investigation of Anshun City, small and medium-sized school calligraphy education status, objective and actual from the basic school of investigation and study, after the analysis of the survey data, find out the control Anshun City, primary and secondary factors of the development of calligraphy education. The fourth chapter is about the problems that arise in the third chapter, and puts forward the solutions to improve the calligraphy education in primary and secondary schools. The inheritance of the calligraphy art has played a certain role.
